ARE THE TREEHOUSES RIGHT ON THE GUADALUPE RIVER?
While we are very fortunate to have our own private river park with over an acre of riverfront access, it is directly across the street from The River Road Treehouses. The river park is accessed by a short man-made trail that is about 150 yards long. See PROPERTY MAP.
ARE THE SKY CABINS RIGHT ON THE GUADALUPE RIVER?
Yes! Our brand new Sky Cabins are all built elevated on stilts right on the banks of the Guadalupe River. See PROPERTY MAP.
ARE THE RIVER ROAD CABINS PET FRIENDLY?
We do NOT allow pets in the Sky Cabins; however, we DO allow pets in the Treehouses. Please read our pet policies before booking.
HOW MANY CARS CAN I HAVE?
Treehouses: 2 cars are permitted per treehouse reservation.
Sky Cabins: 1 car is permitted per sky cabin reservation.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT?
Check-in is at 3:30 PM.
Our check-out time is 11 am.
To check in to your unit you will receive an Electronic Door Code & Access Instructions via email the morning of your reservation.
ARE THERE QUIET HOURS?
Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 7 am. Guests who violate these hours will be asked to leave without a refund.
ARE DAY VISITORS PERMITTED?
Day visitors are permitted if the maximum capacity for the rented unit has not been reached.
WHICH TREEHOUSES ARE CONNECTED?
Treehouses #3 and #4 are great for large groups and have a large adjoining deck, but the treehouses themselves are separate units and require separate reservations.
ARE THERE FIRE PITS AT THE UNITS?
Fire pits can be found at the River Park. Firewood is not sold on property, so guests must bring their own.
WHAT IS AT THE GUADALUPE RIVER PARK?
River access, Lounge chairs, Fire pits, BBQ pits, Picnic tables, & Hammocks!
WHAT TIMES CAN WE USE THE RIVER PARK?
The River Park is available for guest use from 7am-11pm. The River Park is exclusive to the guests of the River Road Treehouses and Sky Cabins. We ask that everyone respect the outside noise levels after 11pm and refrain from swimming, fishing, or socializing at the water’s edge after 11pm or before 7am.
DO YOU RENT TUBES OR KAYAKS?
The River Road Treehouses and Sky Cabins do NOT provide any type of watercraft rentals. There are numerous nearby outfitters who provide rentals, and some offer shuttle services.
CAN I TUBE/KAYAK DIRECTLY FORM THE PARK?
Yes, you can tube directly from our Guadalupe River Park. We are located between the 3rd and 4th crossing of the Guadalupe River. Some prefer to float the from t1st or 2nd crossing or from the Horseshoe at Whitewater. We do not provide any shuttle service.
CAN WE USE THE FIRE PITS AT THE PARK?
Yes, you are welcome to use any of the fire pits at the Guadalupe River Park. Please ensure all fires are extinguished after each use, and monitor any flammable items or young children near open flames.
CAN WE SWIM AT THE RIVER PARK?
Yes. Swimming is permitted. There are no lifeguards on duty. Swimming is at your own risk. We do not supply life jackets. Much of the river bed is slippery, so please bring proper water shoes.
WHAT IS THE REQUIRED DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING?
If the reservation is made more than 15 days out, the guest pays 50% at the time of booking, and the other 50% is auto-drafted 7 days before arrival. If the booking is fewer than 15 days out, guests pay in full at the time of booking.
WHEN IS THE BALANCE DUE?
The balance is due 7 days before arrival. It is automatically charged.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
-More than 15 days notice prior to the booking date: 90% refund or credit
-Between 7 and 14 days prior to the booking date: 50% refund or credit
-Less than 7 days notice prior to the booking date: No refund or credit
-Same-day reservation – no refund will be given (less than 7 days)
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY REFUND?
Refunds take 5 – 7 business days to be deposited back into the guest account.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GROUP BOOKINGS?
River Road Cabins are wonderful places to enjoy time with family and friends! Having said that, we do book up very quickly during the summer months. Thus, we do NOT offer group booking discounts during the summer.
